TORONTO STINKS

The only thing worst than a garbage strike in an already hot and crowded city, is the END of the garbage strike. Every meter along the side walks and curbs have spattered garbage puke and liquid run off from garbage that has been sitting there for weeks and has now been picked up. It's disgusting and has gotten to the point where I can't leave my windows open (even on the 11th floor) because the smell is making me nauseous! And I'm a nurse, smells don't often make me nauseous! Can we please hose down the city or do something!

SUNRISE SUNRISE...IT'S LIKE MORNING IN YOUR EYES

I thought about going to sleep after my night shift today, but the quiet streets and bright blue skies were just too tempting to pass up.

While stopped at the yonge/mcpherson light I turned to the cyclist behind me and said good morning...
"do you ever ride the Bayview extension hill?"
"ohhh yes, but rarely"
"will this road take me there?"
"sort of...i'll ride with you there and show you"

and so we road through the quiet streets of Rosedale Valley and chatted and became best friends for those 15 minutes. Such a friendly place I live in.
