Story Time on doug's new MacBook. I've been playing with it all day and it's tons of fun :)
But back to the story...hmmm...
Friday morning I woke up slightly hungover after a night at the Maddy watching the Piano Man...finished up my laundry, paper, packing etc and headed out with my massive suitcase 50lb suitcase and 2 carry on bags. Dragging my 2 suitcases behind me down Spadina Rd, 2 cabbies stopped to ask if I needed a ride...not me...i was determined to make it to the subway so I could get to the airport for $2.10. Once i got to the subway I had to carry the bags down 2 fligths of stairs, then stack them on top of one another and cram myself in beside them to get through the turnstyle (sp?) thing, then yet another flight of stairs and finally reached to jam packed subway where it was quite a challenge to find room for myself and all my bags. Then I had to transfer subways at St. George, which required yet another flight of stairs! and then I was on the long subway ride to Kipling, where I then transfered to a bus which took me right to Terminal one. Was it worth it? Yes, b/c I saved like 70$ rather than cabbin it and I must have killer biceps by now! I can still 'feel the fire' and it's 3 days later!
On the plane I met a new friend Kevin from St. Johns.
Of course the flight was delayed so by the time i arrived at Carrie's house it was maybe around 11ish...but we stilll drank it up and ate her yummy 7 layer dip and still made it out to the Pogue Fado! once we had enough of the gay boys from PEI hitting on us and we were asked to leave the pub we went to the Casino to find the boys boys.
We called it a night sometime after 4am...ohh how i missed halifax :)
Now i'm in the C-dot and looking for FUNNNNN!
