KICK PUSH KICK PUSH KICK PUSH...

With just a month until the IRONMAN I'm starting to get a lil anxious. I'll keep this short and sweet, mostly because those reading this are likely the same wonderful friends that have been tolerating me obsessing over it day and night for the past couple months. Just one month to go gang. And then you get to hear about the race in greattt detail over and over again. All 140.6 miles of it! ooooo i can't wait! But anyways, before I get to that start line (and most importantly the finish line) I have tons to do. Book plane tickets, finish training, figure out accommodations, buy a bike, practice with my wetsuit, race...

And here's my dilemma:

There is just one weekend before my big event that I have available to race on. August 10th. There are two races that weekend, a 1/2 Ironman in Bracebridge and a Sprint Tri in Barrie. I need to decide soon in case they sell out. My problem is that I would love to get in the 1/2 b/c it would be wikkid training and help me feel really comfortable with the longer distances, but it might be a lil too close to the full - August 24th. Also, I'm gonna need a support crew/super fan to come with me. Come back to Canada CAT!!!

So if anyone knows anything about either the Bracebridge Tri or the Barrie Tri and has any advice on which event I should go to let me know asap. Also let me know if you want to come along for a fun weekend of swim bike run!

That's it :)
