SACKVILLE TRIATHLON

My dad, Patty, Kyra, Brent, Lisa, Joseph and myself got up at 4:30am Saturday morning to go compete in the Sackville Tri. Lisa & Joseph were sooo cute in the 'Kids of Steel'!
It was pretty cold and windy so in order to stay warm during the swim we coated ourselves in vaseline (ya I know...super hot).
The waves were pretty big and the people splashing and kicking all around me along with the cold didn't help my swim at all. About half way through the swim I had to be taken out of the water by a rescue boat! Never before in my life have I dropped out of a race.
They were really nice though and let me swim to the shore once they were assured I wouldn't drown, and I got to finish my bike and run leg. I felt really good about my run so I wasn't too bummed out about the whole thing.

On another note: Thomas is coming tomorrow! YAY!
