Dear Carrie,

If you had Facebook I wouldn't have to take up my beautiful blog space to let the world know how much I miss you. And lets be serious now, it's you that needs to get your priorities straight...dump the boy, move to Toronto, come work with me and then we won't have to play msn tag anymore b/c I'll see you everyday. Seriously, what does Winnipeg have that Toronto doesn't? I am much prettier than Neil. No offense Neil, but I miss my lil Carrie. Pdawg needs some dittle lovin...one month. eeeeeeee :)
Also, who is going to be my date for the PEI Wedding? Any takers? ya? ya?

GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN


July was a good month. Full of hot weather, hot dates, hot bikes, hot wetsuits, hot nights on the patio enjoying coronas with my hot friends and just overall hotness.

I was a lil disappointed in my monthly training total however. 119K of running, 220k of biking and 11.5k of swimming. While it seems like a lot, its much less run and bike than the past previous months. I blame this on work. Don't get me wrong, I love my job; but 13 hour shifts make it difficult to train. I've still managed to get in 5-6 training days/week, which I found easier while working night shifts, but it is soo hard to leave the hospital at 8pm, bike home and then motivate myself to put on my running shoes and go for a late night run, knowing I have to get up at 5:30am the next day. I know whine whine whine...but as a distance runner its hard for me to measure my training in quality vs quantity, but even if I feel completely exhausted and achy, I must be doing something right, because after maybe 3 years I've finally beat my 10K PB with a time of 48:24 at the Scotiabank Beaches 10K Tune Up Run.

And 2 days before this, Liz and I hit up the nightlife and celebrated our awesomeness over a couple bottles of wine and many beers, which ultimately resulted in body exposure on the dance floor, wicked dance moves (in our minds) and feelings of O.M.G. what happened last night. Can't wait to do it again...with the other Liz joining us :)

Also I've finally received my shiny copy of the Deathly Hallows. I'm about half way through and Harry and his friends still haven't found these infamous hallows, but I'm loving it more than anything, and dreading the end of my love affair with Mr. Potter and his friends. Since I ordered from the states my copy doesn't match the rest of my other books...anyone want to trade????

And in other hotness, a hot boy I met and have no intentions of seeing again has been textin me and I think it is super cute. So cute in fact I'm wondering if I will see him again...?
