PARAPLUIE

I'm on a mission. A mission to find an umbrella that does not flip inside out with the slightly gust of wind. My current umbrella, from a large department store, desperately needs a home in the dumpster outside my apt. It's been pretty much useless for months now, but I've been uninspired to buy a new one. In a new umbrella I want something not ridiculously expensive (since I'm sure even high quality umbrellas don't last forever), but something sturdy and portable. preferably cute looking too. while I'm at it, maybe i could find some cute colorful rain boots to go with it :) Any suggestions on where a girl could find such an umbrella?

LET IT RUN

Spring Break # 2 has officially commenced. I chose to start mine Wednesday evening with some good old fashion fun at the Blue Jays game, enjoying overpriced beer, pretzels and Cotton candy (or candy floss as they like to call it). On my way to the game I was unsure where to go, so I followed a dude carrying a glove from Union all the way to the Skydome, at which point he turns to me and asks if I know where to buy tickets...'nope'...he started explaining about not being from TO yaddayadda..."is it OK that I'm talking to you?" "Hell ya, I've been following you since Union!" We laughed and then I invited/he invited himself to join me and the rest of my crew to watch the game since he was by himself. Too funny!

Friday the clinical group went out for lunch at Margarita on Baldwin, which I've discovered is the cutest little street with the cutest little restaurants...I'm very interested to try out Vegetarian Haven (i think that's what its called...) Later on I joined up with some nursing girlies to celebrate another 7 week term ending...complete w nursing sandwiches (see facebook) and yummy deserts at the Bier Markt...we must go out dancing realll soon b/c there just wasn't enough booty shakin that night...which i suppose was OK since Saturday turned out to be a huge long super fabulous day!

Up at 8:30 for a lil rundawg, before biking to rowing lessons (I'm pretty much a pro in 5 seat starboard) and if it wasn't for clinical I'd be tempted to try out for the novice varsity team hah...After a fantastic time learning to row and scarfing down some carbs & caffeine we hit the bike trails for a few hours and seen the most beautiful views I've yet to see in the T-dot while enjoying vegan samosas, then treated to homemade vegan spanikopita and boxed wine...leaving me pleasantly exhausted. but no rest yet, still had to attend the highly bumpin gay party for a dude I've never met, 40th birthday party. I kinda stuck out being one of the only two girls at the party, but it was fun all the same

And now I'm in Hamilton hanging out with the grandparents for a few days. Getting here was ridiculously more trouble than it needed to be. Instead of the normal subway to union, go bus to hamilton i had to take the TRAIN (which was kinda cool, since I've never taken it before...) and then transfer in Oakville to a bus and since I was already an hour and half late by gps had given up waiting for me and so I took a cab to their place. But I'm here safe and sound and enjoyed veggie pizza while watching the highlights from the weekend soccer matches with my grandad and now I'm going to beeeeeeeed. sleep tight world. *muah*
