Ooooof! What a day....

I began my day at about 6:40am when my mickey mouse alarm clock started beeping. As usual I shut it off and listened to some wake up music for about 15minutes.
My 8:30 class was cut short due to some acadia advantage technical difficulties. I hung around and took advantage of my time on campus to download some tunes.
After that I had classes right through until 4:30. Now this is where it gets interesting...........

For my Flora of NS lab today we took a bus out Mud Lake Bog. Sounds delightful eh? Anyways, I almost got swallowed up by the damn Bog!! I took a step forward and sunk up to my thighs! I had to get pulled out by my laughing classmates! I also got huge scratches all over my legs from pushing my way through the woods for a good hour.

I didn't make it back in time to make it XC practice, so after pressing all 23 of my plants species gathered in the bog I headed to the pool. Great to finally be back in the water.

Tomorrow: First Organic Lab, The Apprentice @ Tom's
Friday: Easy XC run, Carbo-Loading, Movie Night
Saturday: Race @ St. Fx!!! ---> Celebrate!

Sunday: Homework & Rest!

update.

Today for XC practice we ran 13K and it was great! My feet are blistered to the point that it hurts to walk, so i'm going to hit up the pool tomorrow. My race last weekend was good. I finished in a very respectable 21st and 4th from Acadia. I'm racing this weekend at St. Fx. This could be my last race of the season, so i'm pretty excitted for it.
School isn't so bad so far. As good as it could be I guess. Field trip to Mud Lake Bog tomorrow...I'm pretty poor right now as I'm still waiting on my student loan, but i hear its in the mail. And other than that there's not much excitting going on.
