SUMMERTIME AND THE LIVING IS EASY...

This past Tuesday, three girls gathered their blades and marathon sneakers and set out for an adventure on Centre Island.



despite the distractions...




like chasing geese, swans and ducks (which seemed like a fun idea until they starting chasing me back and attacking me!)



and beautiful scenery that makes you so excited you do cartwheels!

and of course the clothing optional beach and dudes in very short tight hot pants struttin their stuff towards said beach...



it's amazing we still managed to run/blade 20K!



and at the end of the day we were certainly tired out. The guy across from us on the ferry [yes we took a lil Dartmouth sized ferry boat across to the island :)] said he seen us out on the island, figured we must be exhausted and agreed to take a picture of my two stubblin rollerbladder friends and me...

afterwards we enjoyed yummy mango gelato and ice cream down on the boardwalk. Check out the rest of the pics on Facebook. There's a lot, but some of them are pretty funny :)

REASONS TO SMILE AND BUMBLEBEE

- Sunshine sunshine and more sunshine (Vit D is my happy drug)
- Fresh delicious mangoes
- Running in short shorts
- Weekends of sangria sippin, guacamole eatin and market venturin
- A+ papers that my prof insists on photocopying to keep as a reference
- Boppin around Toronto listenin to happy ipod tunes
- Center Island bike/Rollerblade plans with the coolest girlies i know

I love that week in Spring where it is warm but not hot and the trees are just beginning to bloom. Men in suits. three papers and twelve gossip columns. It is easy for me to say I love you Toronto.
