FALALALALA LA LA LA LA



Holiday party last night was lovely, complete with soy egg nog, yummy snacky snacks, christmas crackers, gingerbread decorating contest (I still say the girls won...) crackling fire place and burning of christmas socks. Definitely put me in the christmas spirits. Check soon for facebook photography.
Also with the holiday celebrations this weekend, there's plenty of birthdays. So to celebrate Ryan V's birthday today we hit up the paintball field - and I have the welts to prove it! Being a paintball virgin I was a bit nervous at first and unsure about all the testosterone and scary war masks, but once we got out on the field and were told to play capture the flag, I was much more happy to run around and shoot people. So eager to shoot people in fact that in my last game I shot little Triton, from my own team. Ooops. teeheee.
With all the shooting, partying and working this weekend I am now exhausted and have decided to stay snuggled in inside rather than hitting up the 3 separate birthday parties. yawn yawn.

LOULOU EN FRANCAIS

I took advantage of the recent Rogers Customer Appreciation event and snagged myself a free subscrition to LouLou magazine. Awesome. I thought. Until it came in the mail and I realized I accidentally ordered it in Francais. At first I was bummed, but then I realized this is an excellent way to practice my French! Joyeux Shopping!

Also on my reading list this week is JKR's new Tales of Beedle the Bard. Us muggles can never really get enough of the myseterious world of wizards and sorcerers...
