GET ON YOUR BOOTS
More like getting on your biking shoes! Yesterday was the most fabulous day for a bike ride. 27C, sun shining, beautiful. I could've stayed out for hours, although nature forced me to return home after 64K. The sun brings everyone out from hibernation. Joggers, runners, bladders, strollers, bikers, skaters, elders, youngsters...My dad always jokes that I'd be much faster on my bike if I didn't spend so much time sight seeing...but then I'd miss out on all the beauty and fun - like the little girl who got her roller blades stuck in a huge pile of mud like quick sand. Her family was trying to get her out using a tree branch for her to grab onto. It must have worked since she was gone on my way back. And the little boy who chased the geese onto the bike path. Mind you this almost caused an accident between me, Cervelo and the geese, but it was funny all the same. And the pretty mini water falls along the Humber river and view of Toronto from the Lakeshore. And now my bright red legs and arms from the sun. Tres Tres Chic.
