CHRISTMAS ALL AROUND ME, COME ON AND LET IT SNOW
Midnight mass at the Basilica last night with the Dalton's was really nice. And even though I did fall asleep for a minute, I really did enjoy the Christmas spirit and the choir was fantastic.
And it's already 5pm and there has not been any yelling. Traditional Christmas run this morning was a slow, windy and icy 5K, but so much fun. Ricky joined Dad and I this year for the first time on his bike, and since my dad is kind of injured I was able to keep up (which may be why there was no yelling...)
The gingerbread hizzaus we got this year has got character at least. It was one without a base and we had to mix our own icing! Geeez next thing ya know we'll be asked to bake our own gingerbread! Anyways...the roof experienced a slight icing avalanche and some of the windows dropped to the ground. It was really a miracle that the walls stayed put. I'll get the pics and compare to the halifax gingerbread health clinic before it gets eaten...i've already noticed someone shoveled the walkway and some of the graham cookie bears have gone out visiting...
the rest of the day will most likely involve watchin mythbusters, playing poker, sippin tea and eatin snacky snacks.
