I live in a world of concrete.
2 weeks in Toronto...still feels like i just got here! But I've finished my first week of school of 41. WOOT!
So far I haven't done too many excitting things in the big city. I've been spending all my money on student fees, books, i-clickers, stethescopes, scrubs, furniture, and various other apt stuff.
I got to see METRIC and the WEAKERTHANS and that was pretty awesome. IKEA was also pretty awesome and I bought lots of stuff there. I'm still without curtains because I can't put them up by myself or without an electric drill (concrete walls).

I walk the concrete sidewalks to class everyday. It takes me 30 minutes exactly and it is a nice little walk. Sometimes I take different roads and find little stores I didn't know where there. Somedays I feel like I walk a gagillion miles and it gets exhausting. I've been out running a couple of times, but nothing too intense. I still need to get in a long run before I can seriously think about the Toronto Marathon next month.
That's it. Don't forget about me friends. I love you and miss you very very much!
Here's where I live.... It's small and cute and all my own. I have a balcony on the 11th floor and the city lights are beautiful at night...
