A WEEKEND OF "VIVRE LA FRANCE", DALTON SWOOSH AND FARTING MACHINES

So I am sitting in an airport cafe sippin hot chocolate because I am an idiot and managed to miss the last bus to Wolfville from the airport. Luckily I bought a phone card and made some sobbing phone calls and I will be rescued.

The weekend itself was fantastic. It's been 14 years since the whole Dalton Gang has been together and it's nice to know we're all still a little crazy. Friday night consisted of family only BBQ at my uncle's and getting to know each other again over beer and huge water fights.
Saturday morning my Dad and I made the big trek into Toronto and I love love loved the city! I may have chosen an apt...I want the tiny new clean bachelor apt with a study room, fitness room, sauna, hot tub, billiards and party room in the basement, my dad wants me to take the more expensive, yet slightly bigger bachelor apt on Spadina Rd (just because it is slightly closer). This one is my favorite... I don't have a picture of the other, but it has more closet space, a balcony but isn't as new looking...















That evening we had family photos (my uncle brought along the "farting machine" and Kristen's famous line "Nana Farted" could be heard for miles)...Followed by a banquet dinner...Lots of memories shared and new ones made.
Sunday my Dad, cousin Neil, Uncle James and little Thomas and I went out for a run in the excreted heat and climbed a million stairs! (well it was actually 278 x 2 I think)...An 80 year old woman passed me! ...After a wonderful lunch we hit up the tennis courts for some DALTON SWOOSH action! It was a great afternoon!
My uncle was nearly attacked more than once for yelling vivre la France at Italian fans...
Finished off by yet another BBQ and water fight and fence climbing to get the soccer ball back. Mackenzie was ready with her whistle and red/yellow cards!
And now I'm back in my regular time zone hanging out at the airport. I'll post pictures from the weekend soon!!
