Cross Country Team to attend CIS Meet this Weekend
Manuela Chiesa headlines those attending CIS Championships

(Wolfville, NS) The Universite de Moncton will be hosting the 2003 Cross Country Canadian University Sport Championships this Saturday, November 8 and seven athletes from Acadia will be entered in Saturday's race including Manuela Chiesa, Nicole Hawkins, Allison Hallett, Sheena Hawkins, Katie Kirkpatrick, Robin McGuire and Paulette Dalton.
All eyes will be Acadia's Manuela Chiesa, who participated in two regular season races; finishing first in her second race of the season and second place in her first race in September. Chiesa recently completed the AUS Championship race, held in Moncton, with a time of 18:28.35 - finishing in second place. Manuela was also recently selected to the AUS All-Star Cross Country team. Manuela is a first year Kinesiology student from Oberaegeri, Switzerland.
