CHOPITY CHOP
I got my hair cut today at Freedom in Charlottetown. I was a little nervous at first because she didn't seem to understand what I meant by wanting the back shorter than the front with lots of layers and texture. So with lots of explaining and pointing she started cutting away. She made a face when I told her I used hairspray in my hair to style it. (frig her I love my hair spray). she also never heard of metric before..."ohhh? what kind of music do they play?" get with the program missy!
but in the end I left satisfied with my hair cut. i think it is a lil different from before, but I'm sure I'm the only one that will notice.

I remember how nervous I felt when I was trying to find a barber in Halifax, and then in Calgary. The whole time I was at Acadia, I wouldn't get my hair until Thanksgiving, Xmas, Spring Break, and etc. when I'd be home. My hair got kinda long and looked pretty stupid when I think about it. Still though, a shitty haircut can ruin your day/week/month.

I was saying to Paulette how frustrated I get at the whole hair cutting experience. I just want to go into a place and tell them to make my hair shorter. I don't really care about all the options.

The ultimate in bad questions is when I used to have a crew cut and they'ld ask what number clippers to use on it. When you take your car for an oil change the mechanic doesn't ask you what size wrench to use, it's his business.
