CLEULESS
Does anyone know how to make my links go to the top of the page rather than being hidden away at the bottom where nobody can see them??? And why are some white and some grey? what's up with that? I want them all the same color! Is this too much to ask?
I also want my picture in the side bar...any suggestions?

When you sign in to your blogger page (its called the Dashboard) to the right should be your name with some options under it (Edit profile, change password, and change language). Go into Edit profile. Go ahead, I'll wait....
Got that done? Ok. Scroll down to where it says photograph. You'll have to have a picture of yourself on the internet somewhere to put in a url, but that should be it. If you have trouble seeing it on your computer once you set it, try clearing out your browser's cache and refreshing the page and it should pop right up.
Hope that helps

Hi Paulette,
Seems I'll come to the rescue once again. To your question:
"And why are some white and some grey? what's up with that? I want them all the same color! Is this too much to ask?"
It's a funny thing called HTML and is only slightly more complicated than the last solution.
Since you have the so-called new and improved blogger beta, I'm not sure if this will work, but for right now I'll assume the updates did nothing whatsoever.
When you log into the dashboard (see last solution) as opposed to clicking on the link to edit your profile, you can actually click on the link to your blog.
This should open a window where you can manage "posting", "settings", "template", and "view blog". The template one is the one you want.
DO NOT FREAK OUT when you see a screen with a bunch of gibberish because if you are unfamiliar with HTML code, then that's what it will look like: crap that you don't understand. Hell, that's what it looks like to me most of the time.
This is what sets the format for what your blog looks like and you can tweak it all you want. SUGGESTION: highlight all the text by ctrl+a and ctrl+c then paste and save into a word processor like Microsoft Word BEFORE you change things.
That aside, you can scroll down into your template. You'll see things like Page Structure, Title and description, and Links. Links is the section you want.
The reason the colors change on your links is because there are actually three different colors set here. One for the basic look of the page when you first visit, another for a when you click on a link. This shows that you have recently visited that link. The last is the color of the link when you put your mouse over it.
I can actually view your page source code and you have the first color set to #388 (this is the one that appears when you first go to your blog), the second is under a:visited and represents the color that the link changes to after you click on it. It is set to #776. Don't worry about the numbers, it's just HTML code for specific colors. You can do a search online for a list of them if you want to really shake things up.
All you need to do is change the #776 to #338 or vise versa and save your changes.
Play around with your template and see what cool stuff you can come up with!
Sorry for the extremely long post but I figured background information would be useful.
