"Think about it. If you are single, after graduation there isn't one occasion where people celebrate you ... Hallmark doesn't make a "congratulations, you didn't marry the wrong guy" card. And where's the flatware for going on vacation alone?"
Ok...Here's the situation...People my age...Having babies and getting married!
While I may be graduating from my first undergrad degree in a couple of short short weeks, I still plan to keep going to school and learn more stuff...And once I graduate for good...I would like to work for a couple of years and make some money for myself and maybe keep some stored away in case I someday decide it would be a good idea to procreate a little running kids-of-steal version of me.
But for those of you courageous enough to do the baby & school thing! You are superwoman! I don't know if I could do it! Can you picture me here at the library on 3rd floor trying to keep my crying baby quiet?! Not to mention the fact that it would interfere with my future marathon career. I fully support Paula Radcliff's decision to put off starting a family with her husband until she wins the Olympic Marathon! Go Paula!
Anyways... it just freaks me out a little bit when people that I went to high school with are now buying diapers and saving for college trusts funds and I'm still saving my pennies to buy cue cards, dolla drinks, and tuition for me.
Steve: "Oh come on, I want a baby. It would be fun"
Miranda: "It's not like owning a foosball table, Steve"
