X-Country Times Volume I, Issue II hits newstands tomorrow morning: Short Preview as follows:

On 1 April 2005, the cross country girls went out in red carpet style to join the 7 other varsity teams in celebration our 2004-2005 competitive seasons at the Fred G. Kelly Awards Dinner and Banquet.
The night commenced with a team gathering at the exclusive Library Pub in downtown Wolfville. Evening pre-banquet highlights include Robin McGuire’s excellent drink services and the arrival of the fashionably (and I do mean fashionably) late arrival of the Westwood Ladies. The Pub activities were followed by a reception and banquet dinner at the well-known War Memorial Gymnasium.
Following the Banquet, a multitude of strictly A-list parties were attended. The V&S party was in full swing with the arrival of Drs. Rene Murphy and Jonathon Fowles, who entered with paparazzi and entourages in tow. Several party-goers were overheard lamenting the early-evening departure of noted coach, Iron-man and local chiropractic celebrity Dr. Ward MacDonald.
Athletes, coaches, trainers and dedicated fans continued to party at the Anvil Lounge and Beverage Room and the Axe Lounge well into the early morning hours.
Congratulations to all award winners and nominees. And, of course, thank you coaches for another great season!
