"WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"
(AUFA still on strike)
So this is going to be the beginning of week 3 of the strike. I haven't been to class since Feb. 13th. Kinda strange. But with the strike in action I got to spend some quality time at home :)
Me and Doug began our crazy adventures with a bus ride to hali and a night out in da siddy! Seen the Mellotones and had a fabulous time. Stayed at Allison's in Hali (very cool gal) then got up early the next morning and almost missed the bus home to pei. But we finally made it.
Spent a lot of time with Cat which was really great. Went to see a band concert with the UPEI wind Symphony (always a favorite of ours). Went to see "True Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" (we only have a couple of weeks as teenagers left you know!) and watched a lot of TV. Had our Survivor/Apprentice/American Idol parties complete with lots of snacky snacks. Went to Town on Wednesday with Doug, Cat & Rebeca to see PILATE play. Ran into Brenden. I was happy to see him again.
I went on a horse and sleigh ride through the woods with Joy & Dave. That was fabulous!
I enjoyed spending some time with my dad as well, even though we yelled at each other a lot, but overall we got a long good I think.
I didn't really say good bye to anyone before i left, but it's not like i'm not going to see them again I guess.
So now I'm back in Wolfville. Jimmy Swift is here tonight, so I'm going to shower up and head over to Doug's for a bit before heading out.
Oh ya. Today when i got home the milk crates under my bed were breaking, so thanks again thomas for your big strong muscles to lift up my bed and help me fix them!
